When to replace supplies
To ensure that your CPAP therapy is most effective, replace your supplies regularly.
- Every 1 month: mask cushions and/or nasal pillows, CPAP machine filters
- Every 3 months: mask frame (not including the headgear), CPAP tubing
- Every 6 months: mask headgear, chin strap (if applicable), and humidifier water tub
Replacing your supplies
Medicare and most private insurers will cover scheduled replacements of all CPAP mask parts and other supplies.
Cleaning your supplies
It's important to clean your CPAP supplies as recommended to ensure that they continue to work properly. Refer to your mask’s user guide or check out the support section for your mask for tutorials.
